Luis Ribas

After forty years as a journalist and television correspondent, Luis Ribas became a real estate professional specializing in both the North Shore and Cambridge markets. His unique career as a reporter helped shape his direct, clear approach to clients in need of his advice. With a belief in tailoring the home buying and selling experience to suit the needs of each client, Luis is equipped to guide first-time buyers through every step of the process with extra communication and support, as well as seasoned real estate investors who anticipate the highest level of professionalism. Luis resided in Europe, Africa, and throughout the United States before relocating to the North Shore. Traveling from continent to continent, he witnessed firsthand how many people worldwide lack safe shelter and a place to call their own. This, combined with his home buying and selling experiences, empowered Luis to pursue his passion for real estate.

 

Born in the oceanside city of Lisbon, Portugal, Luis holds a deep appreciation for the North Shore's coastal lifestyle, which he has called home since 2015. As a Portuguese-American, Luis additionally has a soft spot for Cambridge and its wide array of Portuguese restaurants and social clubs. Luis is a Rotarian and university lecturer and proud supporter of ShelterBox, LifeBridge, and the Marblehead Food Bank. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Government and Politics and International Relations from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Master’s in Political Consulting from the Camilo Jose Cela University in Madrid. His free time pursuits include martial arts, horseback riding, and exploring the North Shore coastline.
